Nonchalant Attitude Toward Life and Different Cultures! No Moral Sway

Morals isn’t just how you treat human’s, and it starts when they’re children.  If people can kill animals without any heart, then how much more your fellow human being?

Their are numerous events/videos depicting how animals are treated.  Gandhi also said “the greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by how it’s animals are treated.”

There’s a few videos circulating showing how animals are treated for their fur, and China has a big fur trade, the animals are skinned alive without any form of sedation. The people skinning them stomp on their little heads, hang them and cut the areas, so they can rip the fur off their body.  The animals are left skinned and alive in a pile.  See Video!  Warning, actions are very graphic! China’s Fur Trade!

That kind of nonchalant attitude toward life is very scary, and I fear for the Tibetan people, and their culture and homeland, while in the hands of these communists.

BTW, the constant, repeated saying:  ” the Dalai Lama is masterminding separatist movements” isn’t believable!  It’s not the Dalai Lama calling for full freedom, it’s the people, people like me and other friends and neighbors because WE see what the communist party is up to.  They’ve already lied to the Olympic committee, so how can we believe anything else they say?  The Dalai Lama has constantly called for unity, and has asked for talks with the communist party, however they keep reneging.

China lacks moral sway: Dalai Lama

China must get rid of its autocratic policies and install moral authority if it wants to establish itself as a true global superpower, the Dalai Lama said Wednesday.

The Tibetan spiritual leader, visiting Japan before a two-week trip to the United States, criticized Beijing for suppressing minorities and waging a “propaganda campaign” during an antigovernment rally in Lhasa, the capital, last year.

“Such a big nation acting like a child,” he told reporters in Narita, Chiba Prefecture.

The Tibetan leader has been living in exile in India since 1959, when the Chinese army crushed resistance in the high, mountainous region.

China has accused the Dalai Lama of masterminding separatist movements while it clamps down to take stricter control of what it calls the Tibet Autonomous Region. It sentenced two Tibetans to death earlier this month for instigating deadly fires during anti-China protests in Lhasa just months before the Beijing Olympics last year.

The Dalai Lama condemned the rulings, saying there was “no rule of law and everything was controlled by the party” that single-handedly runs the communist state. He said the verdict was politically motivated and China’s latest effort to distract the public from reality.

The Dalai Lama, whose real name is Tenzin Gyatso, said the truth behind the riots in the holy Buddhist city must be brought to light and urged the media to investigate.[read more]

China executes 2 for deadly attack on police

That’s sick!

No regard for any kind of life!  Especially since it’s the communist paramilitary police that started all this.  The Genocide Olympics had already been tarnished by the way the communists have treated the Tibetan people on the Tibetan Plateau and else where.  When China was given the opportunity of hosting the Olympics, one of the promises was to be more open and allow for more freedom of the Tibetan people and  foreign journalists, well we can all see what happened with that.

The communist party imprisons any one who speaks up on truth regardless of being a Tibetan citizen or Chinese citizen.  Talk about the true history of Tibet, go to prison, but I’ve never seen that on the Monopoly board.

China executes 2 for deadly attack on police

China executed two members of a Muslim minority on Thursday after finding the men guilty of killing 17 police in an attack last year in the country’s far west that Beijing said was an attempt to sabotage the Beijing Olympics.

An overseas activist group called for an investigation of the men’s trial and allegations that they were tortured in custody.

The executions in China’s Xinjiang region came a day after two Tibetans were sentenced to death for arson during riots in Lhasa last spring, showing the government’s determination to tamp down unrest in regions that have chafed under its rule. An overseas group said security has been tightened in cities in Xinjiang with house-to-house searches of residents.

The attack on police last August in the city of Kashgar near the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan was the most brazen of several in the weeks around the Olympics, marring what the government and many Chinese hoped would be a showcase of China as a modern power.

Abdurahman Azat and Kurbanjan Hemit were convicted in December of ramming a truck into a group of police and then lobbing bombs at the officers and stabbing them on Aug. 4, four days before the start of the games, according to the court. [read more]

Take Action: China: Stop the Executions!

Here China is occupying another country, Tibet, and the Tibetan people are peacefully protesting for their freedom.  No country is helping, probably because they are not at “war.”  Interesting how country’s will run to another countries aid when they are fighting and killing each other with all sorts of weapons,  yet Tibetan’s have no machine guns, tanks or personal gear to fight a war.  The Tibetan’s are protesting for their freedom peacefully, though, the Chinese paramilitary police often instigate riots, and rightly so for the Tibetan people, as any one else would do as a human being.

I find the communist party very disturbing for executing people for peacefully protesting, though there was a riot, that riot was instigated by the communist paramilitary police. The communist chines party is at fault, not the Tibetan people.

China: Stop the Executions!
On April 8th, China sentenced two Tibetans, Lobsang Gyaltsen and Loyak, to death for their alleged involvement in last year’s protests in Lhasa. Two others, Phuntsok and Kangtsuk, were also sentenced to death but with a two year reprieve, and Dawa Sangpo was sentenced to life imprisonment.

These harsh sentences signal an alarming escalation in the Chinese government’s campaign to punish and intimidate Tibetans who dare to speak out against Chinese rule.

China’s Brutality in Tibet Exposed

A video is worth a thousand words!  Images too!  The brutality of the communists toward the Tibetan people and their country is very well documented.  People just need to wake up and educate themselves on the issue, so Tibet can be free from these people.

China’s Brutality in Tibet Exposed

This video, produced by the Tibetan Government-in-Exile shows previously unreleased footage showing bound and defenseless Tibetans being brutally beaten in Lhasa. Chinese police are seen beating Tibetans arrested following powerful demonstrations against Chinese rule that took place across the entire Tibetan plateau last year. The uprising began with Buddhist monk-led protests in Lhasa, Tibet’s capital to commemorate the anniversary of the original March 10, 1959 uprising against China’s occupation. The protests spread quickly throughout Tibet and continued through the Spring and into the Summer, as the Chinese government filled Tibetan areas with troops and paramilitary police, brutally suppressing any dissent. The second part shows the horrific injuries suffered by a young man named Tendar who was arrested and tortured by Chinese police after attempting to stop the beating of a monk. [Warning: very graphic]. He succumbed to his injuries and died shortly after. The third section shows some footage smuggled out of Tibet showing the heavy military presence in Tibet around the time of the 50th anniversary of the March 10th 1959 uprising in Lhasa.

Tibetans Rally 50 Years

My Lord!  It’s about time the US gets some backbone!

The US shouldn’t have to make a resolution in the first place.  The communist China government had promised the world if they got the summer Olympics that they would stop the human rights violations of Tibetan people and the Chinese ethnics.  They also promised to open up more to diverse news agencies, yet everything is blocked right after the Olympic games.   After the Summer games it’s back to the same old stuff, nothing new.  Tibetan’s continue to be oppressed, and families can’t safely visit without their own family’s being threatened or followed.  It’s crazy!

US vows support, Tibetans rally 50 years on

US lawmakers vowed support for Tibet and exiles prayed outside of the White House, launching worldwide rallies 50 years to the day Tuesday of an uprising that forced the Dalai Lama to flee.

As China poured troops into the Himalayan region, Tibetans overseas called demonstrations from Washington to the small Indian town of Dharamshala where the Dalai Lama — now 73 and boasting a global following — lives in exile.

A US lawmaker on Monday introduced a resolution to Congress that would urge China to end its “repression” of the Himalayan region.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a longtime supporter of Tibet, vowed that Congress would “overwhelmingly” approve the bill on the anniversary on Tuesday.

“The situation in Tibet challenges the conscience of the world,” Pelosi told Tibetans and their supporters inside the US Capitol.

“If freedom-loving people do not speak out for human rights in China and Tibet, then we lose the moral authority to talk about it in any other place in the world,” she said to loud applause. [read more]

Padma-Dolma Statement Upon Arrest in Beijing

China’s communist government told the IOC that they would open up to more international reporters, and slow the torturing of Tibetan and Chinese people. They claimed they would open up to more humanitarian causes for Tibetan’s, so the International Olympic Committee IOC gave Beijing the Olympics. The Olympics around the world represents “peace” and “harmony,” yet China has managed to hijack that peace and harmony. The human rights for Tibetan’s or the Chinese people in fact have not moved forward, and they have managed to oppress the Tibetan people further and harsher. Many Tibetan’s are still missing, and visitors to Beijing are being kidnapped and/or interrogated for researching these issues.

China’s communist government continues to put on a false face for this alleged “peace” and “harmony” in the name of the Summer Olympics. The Olympics is not about this alleged peace and harmony, but about how much the communist government can get out of this Olympic revenue or how much they pay their athletes to win these games.

It’s a disgrace to the Olympics and the world wide community which believes in the relationship of human rights and the World Olympic way.

Padma-Dolma Statement Upon Arrest in Beijing
Along with four other activists, Padma-Dolma Fielitz, 21, a Tibetan woman from Germany, staged a protest on Aug. 10th at 3:10pm Beijing time just outside the southern entrance of Tiananmen Square. She unfurled a Tibetan flag and was immediately accosted by plain-clothed Chinese police who dragged her off the street into a public building, knocked her down and dragged her across the floor while trying to wrest the flag from her hands. After the flag was torn from her hands, she boldly confronted the crowd of security officials around her.

Free Tibet Activists Raise the Tibetan Flag Prior to Olympic Opening Ceremony; Tackled by Chinese Police

What a sham! The Olympic Games are staged! There is no honor in a staged Olympic game, and this only reminds me of all the military parades that communist countries like to parade, all while oppressing people, not to mention “guests”.

The Olympic Games was allowed in China for the expressed purpose of more freedom for people and Tibetan’s, yet non of this has occurred, and this is evident through deportations of foreign citizens.

One World One Dream?

Free Tibet Activists Raise the Tibetan Flag Prior to Olympic Opening Ceremony; Tackled by Chinese Police : Free Tibet 2008
At just past 7pm, approximately one hour before the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, two Americans, Jonathan Stribling-Uss, 27, and Kalaya’an Mendoza, 29, and an Argentine-American, Cesar Maxit, 32, staged a symbolic protest near the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing. At Beituching and Beiching Roads, the last major intersection on Beichen Road leading to the Olympic Park, the three men opened Tibetan national flags. The three men, wearing shirts that read “Team Tibet 08″ were tackled by Chinese security forces within seconds and immediately and forcibly detained.

FREE TIBET PROTEST OUTSIDE BIRD’S NEST STADIUM IN BEIJING

More of China’s secret detainment of visitor’s, for speaking out.

FREE TIBET PROTEST OUTSIDE BIRD’S NEST STADIUM IN BEIJING
Four Tibet activists from Britain and the United States were detained in Beijing today after unfurling Tibetan flags and two 140-square-foot banners outside the Olympic stadium. The first read, “One World, One Dream: Free Tibet” in English, and the second read, “Tibet Will Be Free” in English and “Free Tibet” in Chinese. The dramatic action took place hours before the Olympic Torch arrives in Tiananmen Square, and two days before the Olympics opening ceremony takes place at the stadium. The activists were detained by Chinese authorities after displaying their message for nearly an hour; their current whereabouts are unknown.

8.8.08 Burma Day

It’s interesting how all these things are taking place regarding Free Darfur, Free Tibet and Free Burma, yet everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that China seems to be in the middle of it all.

China’s supporters claim that the Olympics should not be political, yet with have foreign dignitaries going, and China continues to oppress dissidents and anyone who will tell the world what China is really doing. That is not political? Don’t be so blind.

8.8.08 Burma Day
BPF and Clear View Project have spearheaded a campaign to invite American Buddhist sanghas to “practice with Burma.” We received many enthusiastic responses from sanghas who now have a beautiful altar card and are caring for Burma in their prayers, practice, and actions. A poster reflecting this connection will be sent into the monasteries in Burma to show American Buddhists’ solidarity and presence with them.
