Nonchalant Attitude Toward Life and Different Cultures! No Moral Sway

Morals isn’t just how you treat human’s, and it starts when they’re children.  If people can kill animals without any heart, then how much more your fellow human being?

Their are numerous events/videos depicting how animals are treated.  Gandhi also said “the greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by how it’s animals are treated.”

There’s a few videos circulating showing how animals are treated for their fur, and China has a big fur trade, the animals are skinned alive without any form of sedation. The people skinning them stomp on their little heads, hang them and cut the areas, so they can rip the fur off their body.  The animals are left skinned and alive in a pile.  See Video!  Warning, actions are very graphic! China’s Fur Trade!

That kind of nonchalant attitude toward life is very scary, and I fear for the Tibetan people, and their culture and homeland, while in the hands of these communists.

BTW, the constant, repeated saying:  ” the Dalai Lama is masterminding separatist movements” isn’t believable!  It’s not the Dalai Lama calling for full freedom, it’s the people, people like me and other friends and neighbors because WE see what the communist party is up to.  They’ve already lied to the Olympic committee, so how can we believe anything else they say?  The Dalai Lama has constantly called for unity, and has asked for talks with the communist party, however they keep reneging.

China lacks moral sway: Dalai Lama

China must get rid of its autocratic policies and install moral authority if it wants to establish itself as a true global superpower, the Dalai Lama said Wednesday.

The Tibetan spiritual leader, visiting Japan before a two-week trip to the United States, criticized Beijing for suppressing minorities and waging a “propaganda campaign” during an antigovernment rally in Lhasa, the capital, last year.

“Such a big nation acting like a child,” he told reporters in Narita, Chiba Prefecture.

The Tibetan leader has been living in exile in India since 1959, when the Chinese army crushed resistance in the high, mountainous region.

China has accused the Dalai Lama of masterminding separatist movements while it clamps down to take stricter control of what it calls the Tibet Autonomous Region. It sentenced two Tibetans to death earlier this month for instigating deadly fires during anti-China protests in Lhasa just months before the Beijing Olympics last year.

The Dalai Lama condemned the rulings, saying there was “no rule of law and everything was controlled by the party” that single-handedly runs the communist state. He said the verdict was politically motivated and China’s latest effort to distract the public from reality.

The Dalai Lama, whose real name is Tenzin Gyatso, said the truth behind the riots in the holy Buddhist city must be brought to light and urged the media to investigate.[read more]

Obama Should Listen to American’s, not the Communist Party of China!

Well, Obama should listen to American’s more than he listens to the Communist Government of China!  As an American patriot, Obama should meet with the Dalai Lama, so we can all hear the other side of the story, instead of alway’s having to listen the Communist Party.  However, we American’s already know the truth about the alleged “splitism,” and it’s more like annexation than splitism.  Aside from that any body of people should be allowed to split, especially when those people are being trampled upon, and their culture destroyed in their own country.

We’re living in the 21st century, and this shouldn’t even be happening when there are international laws in place against genocide.  Tibet was annexed by the communist government, and they did everything they possibly could then and now to destroy any history of an Independent Tibet.  There is enough evidence proving independence, to include a diplomatic passport, UN evidence, and several countries who had relations with Tibet long before the invasion of Independent Tibet.

China says Obama should not meet the Dalai Lama

China said Thursday that President Barack Obama should not meet the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, when he visits the United States in October.

Although a meeting has not been confirmed, every president since George H.W. Bush has met the Dalai Lama, raising the ire of China, which says the Nobel Peace laureate is bent on splitting Tibet from China.

“We firmly oppose the Dalai’s engagement in separatist activities in any country under whatever capacity and under whatever name,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said when asked to comment on a possible meeting.

“We have made representations to the United States urging the U.S. to honor its commitments and not allow the Dalai to engage in separatist activities in the United States,” she told a regular news conference. [read more]

China executes 2 for deadly attack on police

That’s sick!

No regard for any kind of life!  Especially since it’s the communist paramilitary police that started all this.  The Genocide Olympics had already been tarnished by the way the communists have treated the Tibetan people on the Tibetan Plateau and else where.  When China was given the opportunity of hosting the Olympics, one of the promises was to be more open and allow for more freedom of the Tibetan people and  foreign journalists, well we can all see what happened with that.

The communist party imprisons any one who speaks up on truth regardless of being a Tibetan citizen or Chinese citizen.  Talk about the true history of Tibet, go to prison, but I’ve never seen that on the Monopoly board.

China executes 2 for deadly attack on police

China executed two members of a Muslim minority on Thursday after finding the men guilty of killing 17 police in an attack last year in the country’s far west that Beijing said was an attempt to sabotage the Beijing Olympics.

An overseas activist group called for an investigation of the men’s trial and allegations that they were tortured in custody.

The executions in China’s Xinjiang region came a day after two Tibetans were sentenced to death for arson during riots in Lhasa last spring, showing the government’s determination to tamp down unrest in regions that have chafed under its rule. An overseas group said security has been tightened in cities in Xinjiang with house-to-house searches of residents.

The attack on police last August in the city of Kashgar near the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan was the most brazen of several in the weeks around the Olympics, marring what the government and many Chinese hoped would be a showcase of China as a modern power.

Abdurahman Azat and Kurbanjan Hemit were convicted in December of ramming a truck into a group of police and then lobbing bombs at the officers and stabbing them on Aug. 4, four days before the start of the games, according to the court. [read more]

Tibetans Rally 50 Years

My Lord!  It’s about time the US gets some backbone!

The US shouldn’t have to make a resolution in the first place.  The communist China government had promised the world if they got the summer Olympics that they would stop the human rights violations of Tibetan people and the Chinese ethnics.  They also promised to open up more to diverse news agencies, yet everything is blocked right after the Olympic games.   After the Summer games it’s back to the same old stuff, nothing new.  Tibetan’s continue to be oppressed, and families can’t safely visit without their own family’s being threatened or followed.  It’s crazy!

US vows support, Tibetans rally 50 years on

US lawmakers vowed support for Tibet and exiles prayed outside of the White House, launching worldwide rallies 50 years to the day Tuesday of an uprising that forced the Dalai Lama to flee.

As China poured troops into the Himalayan region, Tibetans overseas called demonstrations from Washington to the small Indian town of Dharamshala where the Dalai Lama — now 73 and boasting a global following — lives in exile.

A US lawmaker on Monday introduced a resolution to Congress that would urge China to end its “repression” of the Himalayan region.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a longtime supporter of Tibet, vowed that Congress would “overwhelmingly” approve the bill on the anniversary on Tuesday.

“The situation in Tibet challenges the conscience of the world,” Pelosi told Tibetans and their supporters inside the US Capitol.

“If freedom-loving people do not speak out for human rights in China and Tibet, then we lose the moral authority to talk about it in any other place in the world,” she said to loud applause. [read more]

Tourist Blocked from Tibetan Town

I did not think the communist China government would keep it’s honor with regard to the Olympic agreement, and their treatment of Tibetan People or the international community!

Tourist Blocked from Tibetan Town

Armed police were stationed throughout the capital of Chinese-controlled Tibet and blocked roads to the eastern part of the region, Hong Kong tourists said Friday, in the latest sign of tensions ahead of next week’s anniversary of anti-government riots.

Paramilitary officers were spotted all over Lhasa and the atmosphere was “tense,” a 33-year-old Hong Kong traveler told The Associated Press in a phone interview.

Tensions have been high in Tibet and Tibetan-inhabited regions in western China in the run-up to several anniversaries this month, including the 50th anniversary of a failed 1959 uprising during which Tibet’s traditional Buddhist leader, the Dalai Lama, fled into exile in India.

This month also marks the one-year anniversary of massive anti-government protests that spread across Tibetan areas in China following a deadly riot in Lhasa on March 14. China has said 22 people died in the violence, while Tibetan supporters say many times that number were killed in demonstrations and the subsequent military crackdown. [read on]

China Jails 30 Tibetans for Riots

The Chinese government doesn’t seem very sincere in trying to resolve the issues of Tibet or the human rights issue leading up to the Olympics. Three years to life for the riots the government is known to have started is over kill, but then again, that seems typical, so nothing has changed. They say the world should give them a chance, why; they didn’t give those Tibetan rioters any chances.

How in the world did they get the Olympics?

China Jails 30 Tibetans for Riots
The sentences are the first batch of punishments meted out to those accused of taking part in looting, vandalism and violence against ethnic Han Chinese that began March 14 in Lhasa, the Tibetan capital. The Chinese authorities say the unrest left 19 people dead and more than 600 wounded, while the Tibetan government in exile said that in the ensuing crackdown, scores of Tibetans were killed.

The conflict touched off international criticism of China and prompted protests that have dogged the Olympic torch relay in cities around the world, including Seoul, South Korea, the scene of violent skirmishes on Sunday.

Authorities prepare ceremony for Olympic torch in Potala Square: fear prevails in Lhasa during crackdown

The Chinese authorities don’t make any sense at all!

If they respect the Tibetan people as being part of China, then why all the snubbing toward the Tibetan people and the use of the Potala Palace as if it’s Chinese. The Potala Palace is obviously Tibetan architecture and the seat of the Dalai Lama, so why there?

The continued antagonism and pushing toward the Tibetan’s will only make things worse.

What are they afraid of? No one is out to get them!

The continued secrecy and harsh treatment proves that they can not be trusted.

Authorities prepare ceremony for Olympic torch in Potala Square: fear prevails in Lhasa during crackdown (Full Story)

Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region government Jampa Phuntsog said on April 9 at a news conference in Beijing that if there are any “problems” during the Olympic torch relay from Tibetans, “We will without doubt deal with these persons severely…we will not be merciful.”

The situation in Lhasa remains tense, with detentions still occurring and serious concerns for the welfare of monks under lockdown in the monasteries of Sera, Drepung and Ganden. Severe conditions have been reported in detention centers and prisons. Due to deprivation of water and food, prisoners have been forced to drink their own urine at Gutsa Detention Center in Lhasa and other detention facilities, and many are undergoing severe torture and aggressive interrogation, according to several reliable sources in touch with eyewitnesses.

China attempts to impose information blackout

China is now resorting to even harsher measures to subdue and silence the Tibetan people, which are having an impact in terms of information reaching the outside world. On an official website, the Lhasa authorities warned today that there would be repercussions for Tibetans who “spread rumors, create disturbances and deceive the public”, as part of the political campaign against “separatists”.

Similar threats and warnings were made elsewhere in Tibet as authorities sought to achieve an information blackout. In Jyekundo (Chinese: Yushu) Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai, armed police raided households and took away components of satellite televisions, according to the Tibetan government in exile. The same report referred to an official circular stating that Tibetans are not allowed to watch news channels and can only watch state-run television channels (April 22, Tibetan government in exile).

Former Advisor to Party General Secretary Claims Regime Staged Lhasa Incident

This is reported from March, but I only seen it now.

This is another report by a former official and speechwriter of the CCP. He states that the Lhasa riots where staged in order divert world opinion against Tibet and the Tibetan Monks peaceful protest. He states that Monks were taken during March 10th peaceful demonstration and killed. These murders angered the younger monks who started to riot on March 14th.

There is also another witness who had seen a PAP person dressed as a Tibetan during the riots who was photographed by the CCP, not realizing they would be recognized and a witness came forward.

Former Advisor to Party General Secretary Claims Regime Staged Lhasa Incident

Mr. Ruan Ming claims the CCP carefully staged the incidents in Tibet in order to force the Dalai Lama to resign and to justify future repression of the Tibetans.

At the heart of the deception in Lhasa was the murder of peaceful monks.

“The CCP carefully staged the unrest in Tibet to deceive the world. Before the incident, the authorities drove away all foreign reporters and even forbade them from going out,” according to Ruan.

“The demonstration on March 10 was meant to be peaceful. You can see from the pictures that the demonstration was all monks,” Ruan explained.

“The CCP arrested some of these monks and killed them. The killing angered some young Tibetans. By March 14, the Tibetans could no longer stand the killing of innocent monks and protested.”

According to Ruan, when the young Tibetans reacted, they fell into the CCP’s trap.

“The CCP seized this opportunity and took pictures of these Tibetans in violent actions and sent out officers to do a door-to-door search, calling on the ‘guilty’ to surrender themselves.”

While Ruan said the CCP meticulously staged the whole thing in Lhasa, there were things it missed.

“All pictures from inside Lhasa came from the CCP, but the CCP forgot about the small Tibetan autonomous counties in Gansu, Qinghai, and Sichuan Provinces. Pictures of the dead bodies of those killed by the CCP that we saw came from outside of Lhasa. The CCP couldn’t have imagined pictures of its killing would leak out from these small villages.”

Ruan believes the events in Tibet are aimed at influencing world opinion.

“This time the CCP has a more thorough plot with carefully designed propaganda,” said Ruan.

Monks reveal concerns about Chinese allegations on weapons caches, views on Olympics

I had originally suspected.

The Chinese Communist Government seems to be creating allegations that the Monks have “weapons.” Supposedly, these alleged “weapons” are supposed to be used for alleged “suicides.” I fear for the lives of these Monks because the story appears to put blame on this alleged possibility, fabricated by the CCG.

If anything should happen at the Olympics, the CCG will have already creating the stage for blame, and creating a stage seems to be something the CCG is very good at, since we already know that they have dressed up as Tibetans.

I’m curious to know what the government is up to?

Monks reveal concerns about Chinese allegations on weapons caches, views on Olympics
According to a translation of their comments from footage of the protests broadcast internationally, one of the monks said that they were not against the Chinese hosting the Olympic Games. Another monk told the journalists: “We want human rights”, and speaking to the other monks said: “Do we want human rights?” The response was in the affirmative in Tibetan, and one monk repeated this in Chinese. One monk then said: “We want human rights. We want freedom. Now, we can’t stay under Chinese control. They put pressure on Tibet from everywhere. [Under the Chinese], we can’t [develop on our Buddhist path].”

Another monk addressed the current situation in Labrang during the current crackdown, saying: “A lot of people have been arrested, and a lot of army are in the streets. No human rights. No freedom. We have to denounce the Dalai Lama. We want the Dalai Lama to come back soon. A few days before we protested and then they put the poison [tear gas] on us. A lot of people arrested. A lot of soldiers here. No human rights. No freedom.”

The monk who spoke about the Olympics also said that they were angry that ‘they’ (the Chinese authorities) had reported that the monks had knives and guns, saying: “We don’t have anything like that.”

Authorities acknowledge 4,000 detentions: thousands ‘disappear’ in ongoing Lhasa crackdown; Unrest at Drepung follows new patriotic education campaign
A source reported seeing a large group of Tibetans being herded onto a train by armed police at Lhasa station bound for Qinghai.
